Introducing the Liquid Gold Wedding Band from The Lane Fine Jewellery, an exquisite creation by Catherine, an independent jeweller. This wedding band, crafted with the utmost care and precision, flows around the finger like a river of liquid gold, offering a seamless blend of elegance and uniqueness.

Key Features:

  • Craftsmanship: Each ring is handcrafted in wax before being cast into gold, ensuring that every piece features its own distinctive curves and textures.
  • Finish: The interior of the ring is polished to a high shine, providing a stark contrast to the smooth, soft matte finish of the exterior.
  • Uniqueness: Due to the handcrafted nature of the ring, each piece boasts unique characteristics, never to be replicated.
  • Material: Crafted from high-quality gold, the ring exemplifies the timeless beauty and luxurious feel of fine jewellery.
  • Design: The ring's design and finish encapsulate the perfect harmony between polished sophistication and understated elegance.

The Liquid Gold Wedding Band by The Lane Fine Jewellery, crafted by Catherine, stands as a testament to her expertise as an independent jeweller, blending innovative design with traditional techniques to create a piece that is both unique and timeless.

The Lane Fine Jewellery

The Lane's pieces are inspired by the textures and colours of the countryside surrounding my Scottish Workshop, right on the Highland Boundary. From golden wheatfields in autumn just with flowers bursting from the hedgerows, to the sheer glory of the stars hanging resplendent in a winter’s night. I want my jewellery to anchor my customers to the landscape, so that wherever they travel they have a physical reminder of the land they were born from or love.

Designer/Maker

Catherine Fiabane

Born and raised in the Scottish countryside, Catherine has always felt a profound connection to the natural world around her. After 20 years working in the West End as a Stage Manager, she retrained at the British Academy of Jewellery to realise a lifetime ambition to become a goldsmith. The pull to return North proved too strong to resist and she now creates hand crafted, one-off items of fine jewellery in her home workshop, once more looking out over the fields and forests that she loves.

The jewellery industry needs to do more to reduce its carbon footprint. That’s why we offset 120x more carbon than we produce, plant a tree for every purchase, and promote jewellers that are leading by example.
