Crafting Journey:
Handcrafted in Sarah Hickey’s Northumberland studio, this engagement ring embodies the rich history and scenic beauty of the region. The oval ruby and sparkling diamonds are expertly set with handcrafted claws, reflecting the traditional techniques Sarah is inspired to preserve.
Cultural Significance:
Rubies have long been associated with love, courage, and protection, making them an ideal choice for an engagement ring. Their hardness, comparable to sapphires and diamonds, ensures durability for everyday wear.
Sarah Hickey Jewellery’s Ruby and Diamond Engagement Ring combines timeless elegance with modern craftsmanship, making it a perfect symbol of commitment and love.

Founder
Sarah Hickey
I'm achingly passionate about the visual language of jewellery.
I studied History of Art in London and even before her graduation day arrived, I decamped to New York, to work in the art world. It was at night classes, at the tender age of 21, that I fell headlong in love with jewellery making and knew pretty much from the first class that I had found my soul’s calling.
After 8 years in New York, a jewellery agent and fledgling business, I decided to to move back home to the North of England and my online business was born. We are a team of women. We embrace flexible working, beauty in all things and we’re proud of our small creative brand.
