About
Edward Xu graduated from Central Saint Martins College, London, in 2011 and went on to work as a jewellery designer for Solange Azagury-Patridge and Tateossian, as well as completing projects for luxury brands, including Ermenegildo Zegna, Canali, Cartier, and Swarovski. Edward recently completed an MA in luxury brand management at the University for the Creative Arts, Epsom, achieving a distinction. Edward’s interest in jewellery started at a young age while he was still living in China. He became passionate about fine-crafted objects whilst visiting antique markets in Canton. From decorative porcelain vases in the Tianguang Market to carved gemstone jewellery from Les Puces, Paris, and intricate metal and wooden jewellery boxes found in a Hackney flee market, appreciating these beautiful antiques throughout Edward’s life helped him find his vocation.

Ethical statement
We source all of our diamonds and gemstones exclusively from trusted, reputable suppliers around the world who are committed to ethical and responsible sourcing. Our partners guarantee that none of their stones have been used to fund conflict, ensuring every gem is free from association with wars or insurgencies, commonly referred to as conflict or blood diamonds. Established in 2003, the Kimberley Process is a global initiative that brings together governments, civil society, and the diamond industry to prevent the trade of conflict diamonds. Under this agreement, all rough diamond shipments are certified, sealed, and numbered to confirm their ethical origin. Today, the Kimberley Process includes 82 participating countries (with the EU counted as one), covering over 99% of global rough diamond production and trade. EDXÚ works only with dealers who fully comply with the Kimberley Process and can provide traceable documentation for every stone. Diamonds over 0.35ct that we use are certified by recognised institutions such as GIA or IGI, giving you full confidence in their quality and authenticity. If you are sourcing your own gemstones, we strongly encourage you to purchase from legitimate, certified channels to ensure they are conflict-free and responsibly mined.
