Stoned Wedding Band

Hi, I’m Rachel! An independent jeweller & obsessive maker, currently residing in the wilds of East Sussex. My work leans toward the dramatic and the abstract, with a touch of Scandinavian Brutalism and a hint of folklore and psychedelia. I love to create irregularity; angular shapes combined with organic ones, unique salt and pepper diamonds, stones with unusual inclusions and cosmic colours are really my bag. Each piece is unrepeatable and made only once, so no one else will have one like it!

About
Fuelled by music, myth and caffeine, I make strange relics from my solar-powered studio, usually to a soundtrack of wailing prog guitars or electronic music. When I’m not carving wax, gardening or researching for my next collection, I’m looking after my daughter. I create each item in wax as I go, meaning that every texture, hand graved line or mark is never the same, making a different and unique piece each time, what I call “unrepeatable”. I never use wax moulds or masters (which can be used to create multiples of one item) as I love the idea of producing something that has never existed before.
