Like The Princes Ruby, this blood red stone truly is a Spinel and not the traditional Ruby it appears to be. The vivid crimson oval cut 0.67ct stone, is accentuated by the cool tones of Platinum shank, to create a striking composition. The stone is set on a wide band, that has all of Erin Cox’s signature molten, undulating texture. This would be a beautiful alternative engagement ring for the bold bride to be.

Designer and Maker, Erin is over 20 years into her personal love affair with making, quoting Erin her self, " when you hobby is your job, you have to find other hobbies!" Erin's unique style and approach to jewellery making is the core to her business, and without her genuine joy in making and strong sense of aesthetic Erin Cox Jewellery would be nothing. As a maker, she dreams up new ideas in the wee small hours, and then brings them into fruition on the bench, working and refining ideas in the process, rather than designing on paper. It is this approach that makes Erin’s work so wearable. Each idea is brought about like a sculpture and thought of in 3D.
