"Photographer Anna Bailey has spent years photographing the Lake District, and proposals are where that experience really shows. She's covered everything from sunrise fell summits to quiet lakeside shores, working discreetly so the moment plays out naturally rather than for the camera. Her style is landscape-led and documentary, warm, earthy and unposed, because the best proposal photos aren't about a perfect smile to camera. They're about what actually happened.
Based in Windermere, Anna knows the Lake District's terrain and weather well enough to help plan around both. She'll tell you which routes hold up in low cloud, which viewpoints catch the right light at the right time of year, and which spots are quiet enough that a couple can actually have the moment to themselves.
